My baby is tricking me!

Saturday - Blood and period like cramping
Sunday - MUCOUS and more intense cramping
Sunday Night - 3 am till Monday 12 noon....contractions 10 minutes apart.

Monday Afternoon - Nothing. Maybe one contraction every 30 minutes.

WTF?

It's my first baby....40 w., 2 d

Why would it all be slowing down when it was going so great forward?

nope sorry lol my first did that to me.. it all depends on you and the baby..

my son did that to me for 2 months... but luckily your 40 weeks.. so worst thing is you have 2 weeks left to go

that happened to me too...it started really happening about 2 weeks before i went into labor. i think it might be because they are first babies :/ however i didn't lose my mucous plug till a few hours before my water broke, so you could be close!

I'm really hoping my water just breaks. All this counting and timing is stressing me out :) At least then I'll know .. okay it's time, let's roll.

don't try to rush/force it! it's likely your babe needs the extra time to get in a more optimal position :)

In a book I read it said that some women have almost like a practice run with contractions and such. Just almost like a warm up. Then a week or two later they go into the stuff.
