[Yes, he is holding the communicator, and looking ( Read more... )

You're in a city called Discedo. It looks the way it does because of some kind of event that caused the city to be destroyed and its population wiped out.

You've been brought here by some "scientists". But even THAT is debatable, due to a lack of concrete information. Your reason for being here is a mystery. Your goal should be survival.

Are you serious? That doesn't even sound possible! If the population is wiped out, how are the scientists still existing?

No, you know what, for that matter, how can anything bring us here?

[...hocrap the loud. Robin is sort of used to that sort of thing, though. She's holding her communicator away from herself, and making a mental note to never have it that near her again, wtf.]

What is a PokeGear, if I might ask?

This may answer your questions.

Ah! Thank you!

[Okay, he's calming down. Getting some answers now, as he's reading through what he's received.]

Hm? A PokeGear is a cellphone, a map, and a radio all mixed into one. It's essential for any Pokemon Trainer.

Of course. Someone was kind enough to point me in that direction yesterday.

[Map, radio, trainer = only words that were not complete gibberish there.]

I see. What is a cellphone, and what is a Pokemon Trainer, if I might ask?

[He's going to read it slowly, just to make sure he understands it. Confused Bird Lover is Confused.]

Hm? You don't know what a cellphone is? Or a Pokemon Trainer?

A cellphone is a portable phone... and a Pokemon trainer is someone who trains Pokemon.

That should be obvious.

Poke-what?

What should be obvious? Where I am?

PokeGear. It's a device that allows people to phone others with Pokegears. It also can have a map and a radio.

That you are not where you were.

Hmm...this is different.

It is. Far too obvious.

It seems that way. No radio or map.
