So today I got a rather. . .interesting email from the Oversized Canine today:

Snark wouldn't be a professional way to reply, which is why I'm going to avoid it in my reply letter. It is my knee jerk reaction to this letter.

Coming in cold to this post, it would definitely seem like Big Dog is offering the olive branch and I'm busting out the flamethrower. However, I don't see this as being a genuine gesture on his part. Just four months ago he sent me a series of cease and desist emails that were incredibly rude, threatened to sue me, and accused me of creating fake reviews and "LITTERING THE INTERNET!" To swing from that to asking for my help is a miracle. It would be like GTesch coming out and apologizing for calling people "h8rs ( ... )

So when he releases book 3, it's going to have an accompanying iPad app. It's a virtual pet thing, and you can make it grow by answering quiz questions about the book. You can see the dragon in the video clips he linked. The animation for it isn't terrible, but it ain't great, either.

If there's one thing that I will not ever do, it's willingly work for Big Dog. I may have tried to give him advice back before I saw how skeevy he really was, but I claim ignorance on that front.

I'm going to decline, politely.

It would be humorous, but it would require actual effort on my part. Also, I don't want to risk the chance that El Perro Grande is desperate enough to hire his arch-nemesis to write quiz questions for him. Gosh, I couldn't do it if I wanted to. They'd end up being questions like "What's Celestria's favorite part of Lassie's body?" with the answer being "His ass" (which is true, actually, and I'm very sad that I know that off the top of my head).
