So today I got a rather. . .interesting email from the Oversized Canine today:
Hi [Predak],
Being you're our toughest critic to date, we thought we would share a ROUGH DRAFT of the new kickstarter video we have produced and please ask for your comments. We have no doubt [Predak], you will have some interesting comments so don't hold back we want to

Coming in cold to this post, it would definitely seem like Big Dog is offering the olive branch and I'm busting out the flamethrower. However, I don't see this as being a genuine gesture on his part. Just four months ago he sent me a series of cease and desist emails that were incredibly rude, threatened to sue me, and accused me of creating fake reviews and "LITTERING THE INTERNET!" To swing from that to asking for my help is a miracle. It would be like GTesch coming out and apologizing for calling people "h8rs."
Also, he doesn't want help improving his writing. He wants me to critique his video and project. This seems less like being humble and is far more likely Big Dog trying to get me to do his work for him without any kind of compensation--which fits his MO. If a friend asked me for advice, I'd love to help them out. When a person who has called me a liar and a crook asks for free help, I'm going to show them the door. This email, as I see it, is far more likely grubbing for free advice or is a lot more like poison ivy than an olive branch.
Oh, btw, hello! Haven't seen you around much lately! I wanted to ask you something. Why do owls have such flat faces when hawks have long(er) ones?

Good luck with finals! What kind of lawyer are you hoping to be? Or would a better question be what kind are you actually going to be?
Re: Owls. Oh, I see. I googled "owl skull," and their heads (aside from looking really strange) look pretty similar to the other raptors'. I was asking because I remembered your really neat article about raptors on Impish Idea, and I was thinking that owls and hawks have similar hunting techniques, so logically, their beaks should be pretty similar in shape. Thanks for answering that for me!
