Day Three: Health
Lyndon, a multicoloured feather and fan baby blanket for my cousin's son, Linden Mark (I didn't know how to spell his name right. I possibly still don't.) Knit in Bernat Satin Solids in Sable, Olive Mist Heather, Denim Mist Heather, Forest Mist Heather and Wine Mist Heather, on size 8 needles. I kept the same colour progression, changing colour after ever four or five feather and fan pattern repeats until I got to the end, then changed colours every two repeats, to make it visually interesting on the one end.
I had bought the yarns for this project prior to the birth, but to be honest the whole thing caught me off guard at the end (it's not like I didn't have almot 9 months to prepare for it or anything. Whoops.) So this was mostly knit after Linden's arrival, but really. It's not like he'd notice that anyway. Happily, a healthy and relatively easy event for both mother and child.
