I know I know, I just have that mental, I know it won't really be like that 8D

You know after our 1912 shoot I went to ice cream like that and no one commented at all XD

I'm worried about the time it'll take to get dressed -_-
Did you just wear your Victorian hair all day?

Ooh, well we're looking into a hotel a mile away, so I can always ditch my family and go back and change it looks like :D

You'll be a funny tourist, but that's about it. No one is going to criticis/ze you for your sewing, though they might think you're weird for dressing up. I think they might like you at the Jane Austen Centre, which is worth going to, but it's pretty much a tiny shop with informational booklets. Take some cute photos over tea at Sally Lunn's!

My sister, who is an Austen nerd of sorts, is like "You're bringing your dress right?" so I guess it's happening 8D

to be fair actually in th last few days it has got SUPER HOT OMG AND WE CAN'T OPEN THE WINDOWS OR THE CAT WILL COMMIT SUICIDE (accidentally). anyway - who knows what it will be doing by the time you get here, but at the moment No Jacket would be the best jacket. just to add an extra frisson of danger to your danger choice.

I don't think your country gets cold enough ever for me not to wear a jacket.

What temperature do you consider SUPER HOT?

it doesn't get SUPER HOT i.e. 'oh my god, i am going to die, quick get me into an air conditioned building' (that's about 90F+) but at the moment we're seeing temparatures of about 70F every day (i have thoughtfully converted this for you, btw) so not inconsiderable. and certainly not wool coat weather. and obviously there's everything to play for across the next half-month or so before you get here. ANYTHING COULD HAPPEN, although it usually gets hotter in august. i would still advise bringing a jacket for the evening - but not the big jacket, and mostly no jacket during the day.

I love that you're using a Guinan icon to give me advise 8D

And thanks for the conversion! Though, I really should get used to C >.>;;

Uuuhm, so I'm pretty cold blooded. That's still jacket weather for me. Maybe light jacket, but jacket nonetheless.
Alrighty, do need to figure out what blazer is suitable 8D

I'm trying to make myself get used to colder temperatures by not layering as much, it's not really working :/

also - if you were in bath in a costume i assume people would just think you worked there and ask you about jane austen etc, which could be ok.

XD I think I'd just go with it if that happened
