Since I seem incapable of writing any sort of fiction at the moment, I thought I'd try my hand at meta.

Thus I proudly present...

12 Spoilerific Reasons to Love 'Once Upon a Time' )

fandom: once upon a time, meta is a nice word for fangirling

I pretty much agree with everything here. I haven't really had time to keep up, but I watched (last week's ep?) the one where Rumplestiltskin finally tracked down Bae and I find it amazing that every 'villain' is really only that way because they want to keep/find their kids.

Also, after Jefferson, I think my favorite is Regina.

Jefferson and Rumpelstiltskin battle for first place.

After that... I like Mulan. Wherever she is, gay is in the air. Put her next to a female character and, poof, gayness. It's hilarious.

And I think I'll like Hook, but I haven't gotten that far yet. I'm on... 2x04, or something. I'm trying to be patient, since I'm almost out of episodes.

But yeah, Regina is pretty awesome in season two. Seaon one, especially early, made me facepalm a lot because her threats were so over the top that they made people want to dig deeper.

Ah, sorry. Hope I didn't spoil you.

Yeah, season 1 Regina is kind of ridiculous. I think they were still trying to figure out who they wanted her to be.

I've been spoiling myself for weeks, so it's cool.

In the beginning especially, every time she opened her mouth to scare Emma off, you could practically see the 'Well, I was gonna go, but NOW' in Emma's eyes.

I had resisted watching this but now I'm going to have to because you made it sound too awesome to avoid any longer

I avoided it on principle, but then I got really, really bored with my usual series.

I hope you're going to enjoy it. :)

There's something new and enchanting about 'true loves' kiss being something a parent and child can share. It kind drives your tenth point home and highlights one of the many reasons I adore this show. Family. It can make or break you. :D

Exactly. I don't think anyone has ever done something 'big' in the name of romantic love in that show.

Even when Rumple kills Milah, he doesn't really do it for himself, but because she abandoned Bae, I think.

I agree with alot of what you said. Especially 7, 10 and 12. 12 is good. 12 is very good. Sebastian, my darling~

Thing is though, I haven't been able to watch since episode 12. I just, I have so many issues with the whole Baby Mama drama with Henry and Regina and Emma. I'm not sure if they're that apparent way back in 2x04 where you are but it's just gotten to a point with me that I just sort of hate everyone.

(BTW how you been, Fi?)

I'm getting there, slowly. They're going to stretch that plot point until it breaks.

Still. There's Hook now. I think I can forgive almost any plot crime, as long as he's in there, somewhere.

And I've been good, apart from work, work, work and a fucked up foot.

What about you?

Breaks, falls in tiny shattered pieces on the floor, and slices up the feet of whoever happens to walk by...

Hook is wonderful. Hook was a good idea and whoever on staff came up with that should get a raise. Them and his costumer~

Sorry about your foot. Can't complain. Well I can, but I'm creating my own problems so they don't count. Lots of work and attempting to make something that I don't hate for portfolio.

Complaining is always allowed, especially about problems one creates for oneself, because those are usually the ones one needs the most help to get back out of.

So if you want to rant, I have an open ear and PM setting. :)

Screw Hook's costume. It's all in the facial expressions. That very, very flat that's what you think stare. is. perfect.

I think I watched half the pilot and gave up on it. Maybe I should go back and give it a second look...
