feel me in the corner...

The Avengers kinkmeme fill post is my new best friend forever. Or until my caffeine high fades and I crash and burn. No, seriously. I wanna light a fire, dance around it and praise that post.

In other news, I would like it known that, sixteen days from now, the nightmare that is my never-ending state exam will finally be over. Final oral on the ( Read more... )

1. Yeah, we have personifications in English.
2. I... have no idea what making a country a person would fall under.

3. The kink meme is great (although be careful to check it pretty often or you'll find yourself with 40 pages to go through and just bang your head against your laptop is frustration).
4. Yay for exams almost being over! :D

1. Okay. Thanks. I thought you did, but I mix up my languages sometimes.
2. Ah well. It's probably not something anyone but me ever wondered before, so.
3. I'm kind of afraid of touching the prompts on hte meme. I'll stick to the fills and hope that I never get bored enough to click that button. It'd eat my life completely.
4. Yes! :D:D

We do have personifications in English. Making a person a country would technically be the personification of the country. Anthropomorphization would be making a person the idea of a country.

Who's being made a country? I feel like this will be something I'm going to want to squee over for hours.

Something to read in a similar vein, esama's Magnificent on ff.net. It's Harry Potter/Sherlock crossover where Harry is the ministry of magic and Mycroft is the british government. 20k total. Link: http://m.fanfiction.net/s/7152910/1/

Good luck with finals! You'll kill them then get to sleep for a week.

Huh. I actually read that one before. Sort of forgot about it, though. I was trolling everything Harry Potter/Sherlock I could get my hands on.

Countries. Natasha ad Tony. If I manage to shave a few hours of time off my study plans for today, you might get it tonight. (well, tonight for me.)

And because I know you'll share the outrage: I was reading Crush at breakfast and my mother asked if that's one of those crap things I need to read for school. I did not lunge across the table, but it was a close thing. ;)

Tonight for you is after school for me and it's my last day of high school. That would be incredible if you manage to get it done.

*wails* Why does nobody appreciate good books anymore? Nobody. I share your outrage.

Seriously. I almost quoted the entirety of Dirty Valentine at her, but then just didn't because there'd be no appreciation there. None at all.

Okay, so that's extra motivation to try and get that done. No promises, though.

Yes, we have personifications.
I think it depends on what you're doing with the country. Is it like Hetalia?

0_0 T-T Avengeeeeeeeeers. I swear to god, I'm living in your LJ after I see this damn movie.

So go see it already. What's keeping you anyway?

Kind of like Hetalia, although I only know the very, very, very basics of it, which is: people run around as countries. Or countries run around as people. Something like that.

Don't read the story I'll post later. It's about countries. and Avengers spoilers.

I'm in Italy. Try finding a theater that plays Avengers in english. I tried but I keep missing the 'original language' days.

It's more of the second one I think.

Okay. I will after.

Oh dear. Poor you. On the other hand, Italy. I've been living next door to it all my life and still haven't been there.

Original language days are shitty anyway. They're usually the no-one-goes-anyway days, like Mondays when I don't have the time.

There's an Avengers kinkmeme?

I'm not sure if I'm intrigued or worried.

Be worried. Be very worried. As far as I can tell, they're on round six already. It's like a black hole of fandom.
