kiria_dk was recently telling me about her Brownies of Win, I promptly and pompously told her that anything made with raisins just had to be better with dried cherries. I finally had an excuse to try her recipe last night and OMG they were good.

Fudge Cherry Brownies, based on recipe in the Moosewood Restaurant Cooks at Home (p. 317).

*huge grin* I was wondering how long you'd be able to resist! Glad you enjoyed. For the record, they are better with cherries, and a tablespoon or so of ground cinnamon is a very tasty addition. I also ended up baking mine for more like 30 minutes, but had assumed that it was because my oven is weird. Guess not.

It only served four because they were still within reach after we had each had a sufficient portion. :-)
I think it will happilly serve twice that with no leftovers.
