TV TALKS

1.) Glee
My enthusiasm for Glee has decreased quite a lot over the last couple of months to the point where I actually hate watching the show. It's just not written all that well and the songs are not that good either (I still like to listen to them though and feel guilty about it). While I have been thinking about dropping the show after the NPH/ ( Read more... )

That's a big surprise. :o
Thanks for missing me, but I haven't been all that happy with QM lately, which is why I had myself deleted. I'd like to continue to discuss tv with you though, because I've always enjoyed reading your entries. Maybe we'll find another way to discuss it? Do you have MSN?

And hopefully you read this. =)

Man, why should it be a surprise?! :( Look into the community area, everybody is missing you. ;(

I'd love to stay in touch. I don't have MSN, but I have no idea if it is compatible with ICQ though.

"And hopefully you read this. =)"
I've been checking this entry since I left a message. ;-)

It's ironical that I was already talking to myself in the Parenthood-Thread (http://forum.quotenmeter.de/forum/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=12026&p=816757#p816757) and now you are really gone.

I thought nobody would care. (I can't look into the community area anymore, because that one is locked for non-members).

I once had both ICQ and MSN on my computer and it worked out. It was just annoying as hell to have two messengers, which is why I eventually dropped ICQ.

I haven't even watched last week's Parenthood. When I watch it, I really like it, but I somehow have trouble to motivate myself to watch the show. Btw. looks like we won't have to see the teacher (Jason Ritter) in season two, his pilot got picked up. =)

It's actually funny, because when I think about it, they have killed nearly every character on LOST now, though they obviously didn't have the guts to kill of the leads (Jack, Kate, Sawyer). But maybe they would have if the network had allowed it. Still, if the flash sideways turn out to be the future after the current island storyline, then I'm out. It would be the worst ending ever. "Look we killed everyone over the last five years, but now they're all alive and happy now" - I really do hope the show ends in a more original way. Funny that you like Sawyer, because I hate him so much, but I've been warming up to Jack this season (which is strange).

It was kinda the first thing I thought of when they introduced the sideways. But then again, wouldn't it be too obvious if it was? Though the writing on LOST has never been that smart...so it probably is. It's funny how entertaining the show is, although there is barely anything happening (except for the occassional death).

I actually liked Sawyer in season four and five, I believe. But this season he's been getting on my nerves, though I liked him in the last episode.

Oh my Gosh, I reply on one of your TV entries! Even though I can only say something about USoT. And not even anything valuable. But I agree. THAT'S IT.

Have you already watched last Monday's episode? I can't say how disappointed I am with the show. It's like they didn't have any ideas this season, which is why they stole storylines from bad daytime-soap-operas. At first Charmaines pregnancy, now (in case you haven't seen it I only say) the ending of episode 8. That show sure has gone downhill. Strangely I still enjoy it in some way, but I get all angry about how flat the show's writing has gotten. At least the actors are still good. Kate and Charmaine were pretty impressive in the last episode - I love them both.

Yeah, I watched the latest episode and also didn't like it. I had to roll my eyes during the scene when Charmaine is talking to Nick ... Kate was fun. Remind me again, what happened at the end of the episode?

Oh, Max was about to sleep with Buck's girlfriend. Which smells of contrived storylines. :(

But I shouldn't whine about it. People don't seem to like it and I don't want to pollute the world with my whining.

If you're wondering why your reviews are not being read, it would probably have to do with the apathetic style of writing you've adopted lately. It's listless and lacks any sort of strength. Less pointless whining in your reviews, and how about a little more strength in your writing style?
