I love this story. Every time the Finn/Chia Pet analogy came up I laughed my ass off. I am so happy it had a happy ending I can't even put it into words.

Oh my God! This fic makes/made me so happy, I can't even tell you!

I'm not even lying, road trip fics are my favorite kind of fic. And after this fic, I've decided that musical gestures fics are a close second.

'Wonderwall' was the perfect choice, and that mash-up is amazing.

"She's like the Little Engine That Could," Artie agreed. "Only that in this version, the Little Engine is probably going to crash into the side of a mountain and kill everyone on board in a fiery explosion."

Ha! I think Artie is my sneak-attack!favorite character.

I know Kurt has a boyfriend now, but the crush can't have gone away completely.

Kurt has a semi-boyfriend; who's really more of a flirting object for Kurt to squee over. There was originally supposed to be an almost-slash-but-not-quite Kurt & Finn subplot where they become buddies. Because I love Finn dearly and wanted him to have a shoulder to cry on while his ex-girlfriends are off having sex.

Sadly, I had to sacrifice that storyline to the Gods of "Oh, Holy Shit This Story Is Getting Way Too Long". This story would have had another 8 chapters if I had kept everything I wanted!
