Do you ever wonder if there's something that you could improve with your icons, or have you ever wanted to tell someone that there's one thing that they do phenomenally, but you're afraid to leave a comment logged in? Do you just want a no-risk place to get icon concrit from, without the stress

My only critique is that you need to use less of the scratch/tiny spot textures; they just seem really unnecessary.

It's my own personal likes, I suppose, but I actually am not a fan of the icons you posted here. They all feel rather busy to me, especially 3 and 5. In 3, I really can't tell much of what's going on in the icon -whatever is on the left side really confuses me. 5 just seems really dark to me, and the black areas seem to overpower what the icon is about. I like the cropping for 6 though -that icon really caught my eye in a good way.

I have a lot of trouble sometimes telling what's "too dark" or "too light" on an icon. I go too extreme on that a lot of times. I'm definitely going to try to watch what I do with that.

Your colouring is GORGEOUS. However I don't think it would hurt if you switched it up a little as sometime it tends to be alittle copy&paste~y. Idk idk... D:

Thanks. I get afraid sometimes that it feels like I'm just churning out a bunch of copypasta icons, so it's good to know that there's some basis to that feeling. =) I'm definitely keeping that in mind for my next post.

I've always really loved your icons. I think they are really unique and your use of color is really nice. I like the intensity of the reds and cyans in your icons and the almost antique look they have.
I agree that the text box in sample #4 looks a bit out of place but hey, do what makes you feel good. ♥

I generally really like your coloring. I don't know what it is, but your typical red/blue color schemes with grayish textures just always work out well and are extremely aesthetically pleasing. I do agree that sometimes the images are a little oversharpened and perhaps you may want to experiment with different color schemes and styles, but I certainly wouldn't complain if you kept carrying on the way you do. XD

I'm kind of afraid of experimenting, sometimes, I think. I tend to take my time with introducing new things, I'm just always afraid to try jumping out there and doing something new.

Maybe you never know this (or do you? XD) but I've always loved your work. You have amazing texture skills and such a great style. Your coloring is beautiful too, and I just like your ideas. I wish we knew each other better :D

Very, very nice icons.

I especially like the last one because of the crap and the fact that the American flag suited Harvey.
