Yesterday was great. Jon and I tracked down a 75 gallon fish tank in Conway, so we drove a good 3-4 hours total to pick it up. The owner of the tank had a -gigantic- 1+ft pleco that he let us have. We've named him Pickles. We got a =ton= of stuff from him for 200 dollars.

Random pet care worker babble, feel free to nosebap me if I'm telling you stuff you already know:
Make sure to keep your two goldies on their own and be SUPER careful with their water temperature - they're really filthy fish, all things considered, and warm water will make them a breeding ground for salmonella. Also, frozen peas will help if their swim bladders become full of air - give them two each, should do wonders. Oh, and two goldies in a thirty gallon tank is like, the maximum you can keep in it - the rule of thumb that I've heard is that you want five gallons of water for every inch of goldfish inhabiting the tank.
What kind of pleco does you have? *curious* :D
And... yeah. YAY FISHIES!! Aquariums are a lot harder to manage than most people think, keeping three is impressive!

We have some great filters that keep the tank immaculate, plus we have a wonderful bio-filter. This aint our first rodeo ;)
The pleco is about a foot and a half long. Bigass fish. He's in with the angels right now in the seventy five gallon. we've added 2 earth eaters to that mix but otherwise that tank is staying pretty empty due to hugeass king pleco in there *eyes him* I just had to move the intake hose because he keeps piling sand around it.
We've had 3 tanks before. But our heater malfunctioned while we were away and when we came back all our beauties were well and thoroughly cooked. We were really upset :( This is a rebuilding year.
