I had surgery on my toe Thursday morning. They shaved a marble sized bone callus off the bottom of my left big toe. The actual surgery was not to big of a deal. They gave me good drugs and I woke up as they were wrapping up my foot. Hopefully in a few weeks I'll be skipping rope again. That would be a hoot. Until then, I'm on the couch with ( Read more... )

I went to Fishbone the other night at the Catalyst in Santa Cruz. I skanked through the entire show. They are still amazing. Angelo Moore is absolutely the best performer I've ever witnessed in my entire life. I'm in FL and the tour is going really well. I flew in to Orlando on the 14th, and despite having to check my acoustic guitar at the gate due to a completely full flight, when I opened the case at baggage clam, the Tacoma was still in one piece. This fall, I'm doing something completely ridiculous. On Sept. 9th I'll start pedaling my bike south from Seattle, and won't stop until I get to San Diego. I'm back at my mom's in STL. It's almost X-mas. I broke my big toe on Halloween and I still can't walk! We play a show in Chicago with the Blue Meanies in a few days.
