I think this might be the worst MS ever. Mind you I've read some pretty bad ones (Tales from Adam and Kenshin's Twin Sister were the two lead contenders) but very few things have been willing to retcon so much of the story for no other reason than to show the utter baddassitude of their Mary Sues. Harry surviving Voldemort's curse, shielded by his mother's love was kind of a critical element.
