3398: Halfblood ~ Hestia Weasley
Haven't yet fixed the Tropes Sue Week page as today has been a long day.
TITLE: Halfblood

SUMMARY:”Ever wondered what Ginny, Luna and Colin did during their time at Hogwarts? Well add Ginny's cousin, Hestia a halfblood into the mix and trouble ensures”
FULL NAME: Hestia Weasley
SPECIES: She is Ginny's cousin from Australia. She is also three quarters elf. (That isn't possible if her father is a sibling of Arthur.)
HAIR: Her hair is “the same shade of red hair as Ginny- carefully tied into a low ponytail, to not show the tips of her ears-...”
EYES: n/a
MARKINGS: She has pointed ears of course.
POSSESSIONS: She has nothing specific.
CONNECTION TO CANON: Ginny and Luna are headed to school. Luna says, “I'm only looking at the station it's not every day we get to come to come into the Muggle world. They are really good builders considering they don't have any magic.” Later on they meet a girl who has red hair like Ginny. She is purposefully looking for Ginny and Ginny instantly knows she is a Weasley because of her hair. They then begin to talk about auras, and Hestia is more knowledgeable about them then Luna. (Having auras in the story is bad enough, but having the one canon character who is most likely to be fully aware of the subject not know the rules while your OC does - that doesn't seem right.” She also is very upfront about having elf-blood. We then find out this is happening during second year. The beginning of the story establishes Luna as being Ginny's friend. She says “I don't know who in Eru's name he is” in reference to Harry. Eventually she meets up with some Slytherins. They know she s “not even a halfblood”. Ginny they goes and mentions Poseidon for no apparent reason, and Hestia meets Colin Creevy. We get some random bit about Minvera being the Roman Goddess Minerva, Hestia yellls “You son of a Balrog!” and some random character named Nero Malfoy introduces himself.
ORIGIN: The writer starts off with a what if question and proceeds to add in a random OC. She may be pairing an OC with Colin.
SPECIAL ABILITIES: She can see aura's and knows that “not all twins have the same shape and style of aura. I'm not sure if Minerva is actually the Roman goddess or if they are talking about name origins. That is how badly written the story is grammar wise.
NOTES: The writer talks about flamers on their profile, but I'm not sure if they know the difference between critique and an actual flame. I couldn't get past the second chapter. That's how bad the grammar is.

"I'm Luna Lovegood. Where are you from? Sorry to be rude, but I can't place your accent." Luna said shutting her own book
"I thought that my Quidditch team would have told you that. No? Okay so Quidditch isn't like Rugby Union? Anyway, I'm from Australia." Hestia said as she adjusted her hair
"Is your last name Weasley?" Ginny asked. She had so many aunts and uncles that it was hard to remember who had married who
"Yeah, dad's the Weasley." She said finally giving up fixing her hair "but he moved to Australia with mum. Is it safe to assume that I'll have a hard time at Hogwarts?" Hestia added
"Well, sorta. The sorting hat will probably stick you in Gryffindor like the rest of us. Otherwise, avoid Fred and George at all costs" Ginny summed up from personal experience
"Right avoid all other cousins." Hestia said making a mental note
"Well, not all other cousins, Percy's okay but he can be an arse sometimes" Ginny remarked "Yeah, but avoid the twins."
"Do you know about auras?" asked Luna
