To be honest, I'm not sure what makes Harry and Ginny sueish in this fic. Sure, the characterization's a little off and the writing is somewhat sentimental, but overall, the fic itself isn't that bad. Nothing memorable, imho, but not bad.

It may be the mislabeling that is effecting my decision on the score. My mind's still thinking it's Harry/Ron and Hermione/Ginny.

Having read the entire story that is up I am going to say the level of fluff in this story is annoying and I don't like how life is treated like butterflies and roses. Nothing bad happens to the characters in the story... and by bad I don't mean the characters going through majorly dramatic events. I'm talking about the day to day events people go through in life. There is no conflict between Harry and Ginny, they're constantly happy. Actually... even the deaths of the characters has been glossed over in a manner that... well, it really sets the tone for this fic. Having a baby is not all positive like this. I can't think of one woman I know who has had a baby who hasn't had some kind of issue. I mean, besides the health issues it can be a hormonal nightmare for some people. Conflict is one of the key elements of a plot and everything going perfectly to this degree is also a key element of a Mary Sue.

I tend to notice that this author doesn't exactly put a lot of realism into real life. There's always going to be issues in one's life, no matter what. Life isn't going to be happy all the time. I feel that this one is ignoring that and as such the lives of these characters rings rather false in each case. Even if you're married to the man of your dreams, this alone will not ensure the fluff train from coming through and making things easy for you.

Ginny's character is rather off in this one. I can't put my finger on just why I feel she is a little off... but I will continue reading until I get a clearer picture.

Does this help?

Ginny: (Giggle) I'm having a baby!
Hermione: (Giggle) That is so great!
Ginny: (Giggle) Oh, I loved at my wedding how all of the pictures were displayed. What are you going to do at your wedding!
Hermione: (Giggle) Oh Ginny, I couldn't possibly top your wedding!

If it doesn't... Ginny is constantly happy in this and never sad. I think that would make any character off because people aren't always happy and worry free. Fluff train is a good word for that. Perhaps Pottersues needs a "fluff train" tag.

Lol, too much happiness is making these characters out of character!

Here's the thing about weddings. If it is yours, you know for absolute certain that it will top any other wedding. Since when did weddings become a sport that had to be won?

Fluff train has now become a thing in my writing world! It will be a mixture of too much fluff and unrealistic life stories.

I don't know if anybody else has noticed the lack of conflict in this one... It's like they are too happy to notice that real life isn't like that under normal circumstances.

Each girl has their own perfect wedding truth be told. I threw that one in there because there is this aura about this one about how things can't get any better and nothing will grow wrong. The grow was a typo, but I left it because it felt more accurate then go wrong 'cause there is no growth in the story what so ever.
