So falling in love at first site means instantly becoming boyfriend and girlfriend? I don't think so. While there is such a thing as falling in love at first site, it doesn't mean the characters instantly jump into a relationship, it means they start feeling things for each other as soon as they saw each other. They don't realize it was love at first site until much later on. For example, you could say that Isshin and Masaki from Bleach fell in love at first site, but Isshin didn't realize that she had become the center of his world until much later on while he was watching a corny movie with her and one line struck him with a bit of insight into his own feelings. That right there is the charm of love at first site, but writers keep using it as a way to get characters together instantly.
I know that a lot of people don't want me to say it, but I think that a lot of this "boyfriend/girlfriend at first sight" thing is because of imprinting in Twilight.
Not to say that such a thing didn't exist before Twilight came out, but, it's become much more "mainstreamed" now.
Is it just my temperamental laptop (which is so old that I have to actually order a new battery online through gateway... or get a new computer altogether as the person at the desk told me last week). but is the font rather huge? I have to agree that the massive block paragraph kind of scared me.
Oh dear lord... That birthmark. Seriously, who thinks to themselves when they're thinking up their characters and say to themselves: "Self, you know what would be awesome? If my daughter of Voldemort character had the Death Eater mark... but it wasn't a tattoo, but actually, a BIRTHMARK!" and then goes "Yes, that sounds perfectly logical."
Also, I'm not even going to pretend like I've read this story beyond the sample as the font in the actual story is rather... um... large and in my face.
Sometimes the dark lord just needs to feel pretty, ok? Do you know how stressful it is to fight the forces of good united all the time? And it doesn't help that he looks like a bald micheal Jackson.

What even is this magic? Voldemort would literally have no use for a spell like this.
