When I was a suethor, I was a psycho who treatened to kill my readers with a chainsaw, but I believe that's nothing compared to being worried about your nice outfit after your mother gets murdered and you just evaded a bunch of people trying to pull the Avada Kedavra on you.

...And threaten a lovable character's life, of course.

Yeah. It would be one thing if it was presented as a form of denial (focus on the little things so you don't have to think about the big things), but it's not.

And yeah, what's up with treating Tom like that? Seems a bit extreme just to get when the train is leaving.

Or if it was presented form the point of view of one Pansey Parkinson. However, this Sue doens't have that kind of personality.

I'm not even sure that Tom has anything to do with the Hogwarts Express. To the most of my knowledge, he just owns the Leaky Cauldron.
But then again, what do I know? Apparently, London is a very small city; small enough to only have one train station.

Peyton A la Dumbledore sounds like a dish in a French restaurant. And since I'm guessing a turkey baster featured in the conception of Peyton's mother it's probably a poultry dish. That or Dumbledore was on a lot of drugs in the sixties.

The writing on this was bad, its the random tense changes that make it delightful- but I always thought that if you're going to insist on having a Sue come in during fifth year or whatever it's got to be death of a parent, one who always opted for homeschooling, or it comes off trite. Shame about all the rest of it.

I thought perhaps we had a Suethor who doesn't happen to have English as their first, but they're actually a thirteen year old writer. I wonder how many thirteen year olds on the site we would unfortunalty be able to guess the birthday of due to them being excited about finally being old enough to join the site. It is kind of scary.

I don't really know, but I don't think they're that many: Without even getting out of my school, I knew five girls with ages beetween ten and twelve that faked their age to get into fanfiction.net and may, many other sites. Two of them even laid their hands into porn, and no one ever noticed.

When I find a Suethor is underage for the site, I will not hesitate in laying into them about internet safety and in some cases how they shouldn't be writing M rated fics. In fact, I word things so if the parents go through their e-mails, they'll know exactly what their little darlings are up too.

Again, we need a spaghetti strap tag. :-)

Is there any other kind of strap? ;) I hear one-shouldered is big this year, how come we haven't seen those yet?

I think it has to do with the fact that most Suethors who would go for that kind of clothing are very young ones whose parents would kill them if they wore that, and the same would go with their peers. I think that is a good thing though, in more ways then one.

I've seen your icon before, but it's still the most fabulous thing I've ever laid eyes on.

While I can see a Suethor using the Hikari part of my user name, I think I would be disturbed if someone used Yemi. It... isn't that common.

The title made me laugh so much. So much. It's like some bad off-Broadway musical.
