You know, this is really starting to depress me... I had been under the naive assumption that finding truly horrible sues would be at least something of a challenge... but no, I just bring up the Harry Potter section at the Pit of Voles, and there they are, staring me in the face on the front page.

Today, we have a truly bizarre Lily-Sue.

I'm all up for a revenge of the nerds ***digs out chainsaw***

There is one thing that is starting to seriously bother me though. I post my fic at The Pit of Voles and while i would never say it was terrific, it's better than any of the Mary Sue crap posted there. And yet, this person has 111 reviews where my highest number of reviews is 11.

Something isn't right there.

I get where you're coming from. I mean, I have the same thing more or less - the most I've got for a single post is about nine, although I get rather more for slow-written multi-parters ( ... )

She could have at least had the sense to name Lily's apparent "other sister" after a flower as well, if nothing else. Am I the only one who saw something of a pattern between Lily and Petunia's names? Grr.

And the author also assumes that we are as stupid as she by giving us meanings of words that are above two syllables. Oh, the pain.

For the explanation there my fellow 'Anonymous,' most of the reviews i get are just 'u r so good, rite more' and it's infuriating because that isn't what i want. I want pointers and proper critiques and the Pit of Voles does not have much have that.

I mean, maybe Homer Simpson really -is- a creation from the Wizarding world...anyone stop to think of that?
And -if- you had super strength and one waist and exagerated, comic relief, curves...wouldn't fat people with glasses actually -be- lesser beings?

Would a guy with oodles of money need a soul mate with intelect? Would he need one? hmmm?

What if you were a winged angelic princess, would you want a bed partner who was less deserving than... your self? Who could be more deserving than...YOU! Since you're already there, your twin sister is an obvious pick!
