5. If she lives in the states, why is she going to Hogwarts? Isn't there a wizarding school in the states? I'm pretty sure if there's wizards there, they must have schools, right?

There's at least one canon magical school in the USA - The Salem Witches' Institute. It's mentioned at the beginning of Goblet of Fire, at the Quidditch World Cup. And yes, you'd think that American witches and wizards could go to their own damn schools.

Ooohhhh, nw i gt y americans go on abot this mysteriouse Salem Witches' Institute in fanfics and stuff... it da book it does NOT say dat this is a skol, and da ppl sitting under it's banner r described as MIDDLE AGED.

Okay, seriously? Even I could tell that that was sarcastic, and I'm pretty oblivious. What the Hufflepuff is your problem? Who's to say that the witches under the banner were students of the school? They might have been teachers, former students, or parents of students. Think before you post. And also, learn to spell.

Well ... At least her Mary-Sue is completely ignorant, unlike those know-it-all Sue's who seem to know everything about the wizarding world. :D
