How long has it been since we’ve had a Stargate crossover? Actually, there was a story featured back in December of last year which was supposed to be a Stargate crossover eventually which ironically was one I also marked as good.

It certainly doesn't help that the two fandoms really aren't compatable with each other without some work, but then again, from the writer's note regarding what they call crossover characters they really didn't think about the differences and only the similarities. For example, said so called crossover characters are differing interpretations of characters from classic literature, but the writer really didn't do anything to mesh these differing interpretations. They don't do anything about magic and science co-existing either. Star Wars, on the other hand, at least happens to blend the two within the canon making it easier for the writer, though it is still difficult.
