I don't get why this has to be emphasized. I mean, logically speaking, the Ministry of Magic would take issue if the orphanage didn't cater to all blood types. It also means nothing as it can be a way to look good publically.

Why do I have the feeling Lucius is looking for his grandchild for some reason despite the fact he should be in Azkaban.

I'm honestly not fond of next gen. In this particular case, the children are always perfect angels when they shouldn't be. I think the one exception to the rule was a one-shot where Percy's daughter tried cheering him up when Percy was down in the dumps regarding Fred's death. I wouldn't call her a perfect angel though, because she didn't know or understand why her father was sad. She just knew he was and wanted to do something to help. That's how children act, but most writers will have the kids figure out what is bothering their parents.
