I've played around with the Star Wars crossover and did a one-shot, but this is pretty much broken from the outset. Not only is Harry not even recognizable, but the attempt to merge the Force and Magic as two seperate but somehow connected systems is just an incoherent mess.

I love how the reviews point out the flaws in the story.

And of course, the ultimate irony in that in both universe, turning to the Dark Side only winds up destroying your life, while in these fics it's just some cool power boost for angsty teens.

I think it is actually possible, but, and here is the major but, I think it's going to take a lot of world building to get it to work in the first place, or a fusion of one into the other would be best.

So, it's a typical Harry Potter Gary Stu where he stops being himself just so he could be "cooler" yet not really be "cooler".
