I was reading Regulus Lives stories and came across one of these which actually wasn't a Regulus Lives story. If I remember correctly, he was paired with James Potter?

Personally, I can't help but feel the soul mark stories are highly insulting to people who aren't heterosexual when a slash pairing is involved and when it's a het pairing it is instead very sexist, yet can I say it doesn't work? I actually came across a fanfic for the new Baby-Sitter's Club live action where the writer wrote a soul mark story, or perhaps it was a soul mate and it almost worked. The problem is, soul mates is really hard when one has soul mates ending up divorced in universe, but that's one of the reasons the character didn't want a soul mate because they saw their parents get divorced despite being soul mates. So what then does being a soul mate even mean?

Edit: Just saw the Deadpool fanfic linked at the top. Now THAT is how to do crackfic, but then the fandom is in itself of the genre.
