It's kind of ridiculous how much people contrive the plot to get Draco involved. He only interacted with the trio because they went to school together. And why would Hermione defend him? There's a difference between "He's not a Death Eater" and "You should be friends with him" .

And of course it's a vampire story. That's such a common thing with Drarry in particular.

Still, it's a challenge to write about COVID, a challenge worth looking into. It's just that it's done by people who aren't up to it

So far I've not come across one which has so far done the job, but I might.

Honestly I'm still struggling on how could I tackle the subject well; it's beyond my skill, and it's beyond the skill of a LOT of authors, especially people like this one.

I suspect the writer is very young. What's really sad is they think this is cute, but wouldn't that then make them likely your typical very young slash girl who thinks two hot guys getting together is super cute even though the way they interact with each other is far from it? That's not a good thing, but hopefully the writer might grow out of it - or not.
