How long has it been since we've had a Sue thar was a Purity Sure (isn't actively trying to sleep with a canon character)?

As a male who once had shoulder length hair, I cannot understand how young girls do not understand how much of a pain long hair is. On top of basic hygeine and grooming, it's heavy, hot, and gets caught in everything (including itself).

They understand long hair is pretty.

On top of girls thinking it is pretty, I bet the ones who do have long hair have a parent taking care of their hair rather than themselves. Actually, there is a reason why Sakura cuts her hair in Naruto, but it made an amazing plot point.

I seriously was never able to go full-out Mary Sue with 'she was so uniiiiique!!!!' and all that. Just made me cringe, wish-fulfillment of not. That doesn't mean I've never written a Sue; I do still write them (just don't publish them), but the all-out speshulness and so forth was always a step too far for me.

Woah. I just saw the writer's profile, and they say, "I'm currently working on 1 Hobbit fic which is being updated, and also a Supernatural Fic with a friend that is yet to be published on here, so fingers crossed it works out and me and my friend write some awesome stuff!"

Like, how much of an ego can you get.

I looked into her other story and found yet another Mary Sue, this one being a shapeshifter the writer calls "Rebhane" who starts off as a fox until they get to Rivendale and then proceeds to tag along with the Dwarves. Middle Earth doesn't need any more species, but it feels way to convenient.
