Word, word, a thousand times word. The Weasleys are not perfect, but they are, by and large, a happy, well-adjusted family. They are NOT Jerry Springer fodder.
And Ginny has had one (unrequited) crush, one date to the Yule Ball with a friend, one confirmed boyfriend and, at the end of OOtP, one "possible" boyfriend. We don't know if she's dating Dean, just has her eye on him, or even just wanted to see Ron jump. I ship Ginny/Dean so I'm a bit biased, but canonically? Ginny has had ONE, count 'em ONE, boyfriend so far - Michael Corner. She's hardly the Gryffindor Broomstick.
it's not only at home that are they tolerated, but also at school as well. If never ceases to amaze me how they can be caught out time and again, locking lips and other bits, and the most that happens is that they lose house points and maybe get a detention...together.
And please don't get me started on Ginny as the Whore of Hogwarts.
On my list of all time pet peeves that one. Ginny, the girl who couldn't have Harry, so she had everyone else. She is of course closely followed by Hermione, "I'll shag anything that moves" Granger aka "Lust in the Dust Library" with Harry, Ron, Snape, Draco, Undead Sirius and Lupin in supporting and sporting roles.
Often Ginny and/or Hermione are observed partaking of above sporting types with the Definitive Wizarding Karma Sutra in the daylight hours, when one would assume Madam Pince is around...or heaven forbid, other students?

Ginny is not a slut. She's a very average teenage girl when it comes to boyfriends.
The Weaseleys aren't horrible. Every time Harry can leave the Dursleys for the Weasleys, he's happy and I'm happy for him.
