A colleague told me about this article in this month's edition of Vanity Fair. The sheer amount of corruption that is taking place in Iraq, and that is allowed to take place is sickening. War profiteering at it horrific "finest." "The People Vs. the Profiteers"

Well, I'm halfway through my internship here in Bucharest. I do want to go out and see at least a little more of the country while I'm here. I'm thinking of going to Brasov, and seeing Bran Castle. My warm coat on a cold day like today. It makes walking outside a nice experience instead of a miserably cold one.

Two things: going souvenir shopping for traditional Romanian gifts to bring back to friends and family, and knowing I will be talking to my family tonight on the phone.

I just burned an "Enya" CD. Not really into New Age music, but I like Enya. Very dramatic, almost operatic. And pretty.
