“How much?” he asks, one eye open while the other remains closed. You can tell, it’s like a sense that you have. You know exactly what everyone is doing.

Parodyparodyparodyparodyparody.

Super Speshul Psychic Sue? Please.

Your eyes were closed when he had spoken and you painfully open your eyes. “Why’s what so big?” you ask, slowly, hoping not to get a reply.

If I didn't want a reply, it would make more sense not to ask the question in the first place.

Stupid Sues.

Your house may be enormous, but your appetite isn't.

What the hell did that have to do with anything? The house comment was completely pointless.

Oh, and my best friend is studying How To Be A Cheap Whore 101. What other thing could a female study on Tortuga?

The skirt of made of silk, reaching a little above your knees. The silk itself has an odd look, crimped out and puffed out. The top part of your dress is tight silk that is transparent, showing off your stomach. To top it all off, it has no straps and exposes most of your chest.

You know, I should really stop looking at the clothing descriptions in these things, because they're far too painful to my inner costumer. "I" am apparently tripping around Tortuga in a silk tutu and showing off my stomach -- in an era when skirts went to the ankle at least, a "transparent" top would show nothing but a bodice or corset (dammit, Elizabeth's corset wasn't unique; it was just ill-fitting!)-- with no chemise underneath. And now "I" am changing into a black cotton nightdress (well, at least the cotton part is accurate) so apparently "I" am a widow.

You know, even if you don't want to do historical costume research (which I personally think is a lot of fun), watch the frickin' movie! Look at how the women were dressed, and model your character's ( ... )

"I" bought the lace robe, originally, to eat it. "I" thought black lace spread on 1/4 of a piece of bread sounded quite tasty. But then "I" found it was chewy, so "I" wore it instead and ate "my" money.

Actually it started out white, only "I" bought it from Barbossa, so it was cursed and black and had holes in it.

Hey, it makes as much sense as anything else in that story.

I want to know who started this CYOA trash. It's also infected my fandom, Yu Yu Hakusho. Don't look - it's not pretty. I remember when they actually had decent ficwriters...Unfortunately, they're outnumbered, and they take more time writing. That way, we get one or two good ones per page, while the quickly-and-badly-written ones just take up more space.

She promises to be painful. She's very stupid already, and apparently the "author" would be "gleeful with happiness" if she owned PotC. Um, redundancy much?

ONe of the reasons I just WILL not go to FF net anymore. I need my eyes. I am tired of having to regenerate them from constantly being burned out via bad fic.

I am glad I have a couple of lists with good authors to at least give me something.
