They just announced this year's "nominees" for the "Rock and Roll Hall of Fame".

Metallica, Run DMC, The Stooges, Chic, Jeff Beck, Wanda Jackson, Little Anthony and the Imperials, War & Bobby Womack. Of which, five will make it in.

Are you kidding me?

At least the museum is pretty spiffy.

Funny as well that they have NEVER held the induction ceremony at the actual Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. (I guess Cleveland just doesn't rock hard enough, or something. (; )

It's about money. Same as the baseball hall of fame ( and you know I hate that place as well ) Someone is giving money to the guy that owns that place to put these bands in. It is also quite possible that they have contacted some of the bands you have listed and they told the guy to get bent because they don't want to be part of making him money. Nice idea but unless the proceeds were going for something the artists could get behind I think a lot of them could care less.

I respectfully disagree with many of those that you would enshrine nominate before War or Bobby Womack. I also agree with many of your choices.

And, yes, the R & R HOF is total bullshit in the first place.
