Today while I was at work, Avocado decided that he would jump from the top of the staircase to the bottom (we have a spiral staircase). In doing so, he broke an unopened bottle of wine.

Virginie is not very happy with Avocado tonight. He's been locked up in my room since the incident.

Yeah, he's fine. It's a jump he's been contemplating for a while, and I guess he finally decided he could make it, but didn't see the bottle of wine. I guess he just knocked into it and knocked it over, but didn't cut himself or anything. Later, he learned how to jump onto my bureau and knock everything off (including the vase of flowers!!!). Troublesome kitten...

Now, I'm not the one with wine stains on my carpet right now, but I think that's really cute.

Oh, we don't have carpeting, thank god (only in my bedroom, the entire rest of the house is just hardwood flooring, and beautiful wood at that). But my roommate has really expensive bottles of wine from France and was kind of mad that she hadn't even tried that one yet. But I think she's better now.
