Yuugao had known things were bad when he saw videos of the creature-woman-thing attacking people in New York. The instant he sensed the enormous spike of energy in his town, he knew things had just gone from bad to even worse.

Changing into his ANBU gear took an even shorter time than usual and he was sprinting across rooftops and down back alleys within minutes. The closer he got to the spike in energy the more sure he was of the location and it was not a comforting thought. He had always hated all the abandoned buildings in this quadrant and now it was coming back to bite him.

He slowed and stuck to the few available shadows as he got close - pausing to see if there was any security outside the building. Yuugao didn't want to just have the building explode as the energy was building to levels that made him extremely uncomfortable, but he also wasn't sure how best to stop the gathering of it and start a slow dispersal.

There was no security, no barriers, not even a hint of protection. A testament to Serenity's belief that the shack she was in was sufficiently isolated enough that no one would think to look for it. Of course, it completely disregarded the fact that there were people who could sense energy, of course.

She lets out a sigh. It was so close to completion, but the increase slowed for some reason. Maybe she should go seeking out energy, but she didn't want to leave the giant ball alone - not when everything was almost perfect.

The first order of business was making two shadow clones, followed by each clone pulling out chakra-absorption tags. They would allow the clones to sneak in, slap the seals on the interior walls and siphon out as much not-chakra as possible. He sent them off focused himself on the one not-chakra signature inside the shack.

It took a moment, but he recognized the signature and the identity made him pause. That girl was causing all this trouble? If that was truly the case he would need to reevaluate every single import who was under his charge. It did not lighten his mood at all. Instead of dwelling, he snuck inside the snack through a broken window and hugged the shadows as he approached Serenity from behind.

His two clones succeeded in their task and he could feel the enormous ball of energy start to weaken as the first two tags went up, followed quickly by two more every few meters the two clones moved.

The weakening energy instantly snaps Serenity to attention. Wait, why was it weakening?

"H-hey!!" She sees the tags and starts taking them off frantically each time she spotted a new one. "Are those...ofuda scrolls!? No! No no no, I can't lose this energy!! Waaaaaaai!!!"
