WHAT: Serenity's youma has just unveiled itself and is chasing humans for energy.
WHERE: Manhattan

WARNINGS: Violence? And youmas turning into dust!
SUMMARY: Just when you though things couldn't get crazier in Manhattan, they just did. People are dropping like flies and the creature responsible is on the loose.
It started almost innocently enough. Throughout the city, in stores and markets, there were people fighting over the supplies of the new fad drink, Ener-Get, and Ray, the new suit that was causing a craze. Of course in the fray a few people might faint from the heat and fatigue, from the long time they spent in lines, from the fighting.
Then, almost all at once, people started falling. Bodies began to line the streets. Though sensitive to power and magic would notice a sudden shift in energy, followed by a sudden drop of it. Countless amounts of energy seemingly vanishing into thin air. It's disconcerting, especially in light of the sudden onslaught of the results of Reed's failed experiments that had only just ended.
But this creature was no product of Reed's designs, and could certainly not be mistaken as such. It's not vlay for one thing, and it's far more cognizant, it's sentience more than simple anger and hate, though there's plenty of contempt for the foolish humans it has helped to con. Ball of energy swirl around it, gathered from the unconscious humans, before disappearing.
"Oh no!" The youma cackles as it sees several people resisting the energy drain, trying to run away. "You won't get away from me!"
