Iron Man had a strong dislike for sudden, unexplained phenomena. People suddenly swapping bodies, forced shared telepathy, the vanishing sun, and this. Given that two of the previous three were never solved and merely ended on their own did nothing to improve its feelings on the current situation.

As far Iron Man could tell, this body was functioning as intended. A tragic shortcoming of the human body was the inability to self-diagnose. Nothing hurt, though the temperature of the room and all the surfaces was unpleasant. But being very vulnerable and losing all offensive and defensive capabilities along with almost all sensory input and all network connection was by far worse than anything else that it had suffered.

"Hank. It's me," Hearing the wrong voice when it spoke was unsettling. High pitched and human. "I called you here."

"Miss, I don't know how you got a hold of Iron Man's phone, but I must insist that you show yourself immediately."

And then it dawned on him. Nobody had access to this lab other than Jan, Bruce, Tony, Iron Man, and himself. Anybody else entering this space uninvited would have run into security protocols, Hank would have known immediately if somebody had tried to break in or entered without authorization.

That could only mean one thing. "Iron Man?"

Since Hank had come to the correct conclusion with relatively little convincing, Iron Man leaned out partially from where she was hiding. This body was relatively easy to adjust to.

Long red hair went down past her shoulders. "Yes. Hank. You have to help me fix this. My brain isn't -- I can't think fast enough. I'm vulnerable, all my sensors are gone, and it's cold in here. I don't want to be like this. I'm useless."

Aside from looking tense and perhaps faintly annoyed there wasn't much expression on Iron Man's face. Facial muscles were a new experience, as was the experience of talking with a mouth and vocal cords.

Hank didn't really have a chance to get a good look at the suit's new face, since the first thing that registered in his mind was that he, now she, wasn't wearing any clothes, so before she had a chance to step all the way out from her hiding place, he'd quickly turned around, not wanting to make her uncomfortable... Well, more uncomfortable ( ... )
