He walked down the street to the pub. Stepping inside he waved to Orla once he spotted her. "Hiya!" As he waved a pair of men sitting at one of the tables, stood and twisted, turning over the table they were sitting at as the went from man to animal right before his eyes.

"Reckon it's time for something substantial. Maybe beef stew or something. What about you?" he asked his dinner companion as he contemplated which beer to order with dinner. Ale would be a good complement. Or stout. Perhaps he'd order stout. That sounded good.

But then Ron stopped, as if something horrible had occurred to him; it was only a split second, but he sat with his mouth open, glancing from Harry to something he thought he saw happening -- Men contorting, changing --
"Fuck --!"
As the table was turned he sprang to his feet, wand out.

"Stupefy!" Sending the stunning spell towards the wolves, he managed to graze one in the shoulder. The werewolf reared and howled, knocking the next table out of his way as he began to move towards him.
"Holy shite!"

She shook her head, she would not begin this again in her head. Her biological clock needed to shut it's face already. Athena was fully into arguing with her sub-conscious when she heard the howling. Then a scream.
Shite.Taking out her wand from it's holster, she immediately went to the source of the attack. It was her job to protect people and bring down the bad guys. Besides, she'd killed Fenrir Greyback, the biggest and baddest, while a pole was shoved through her middle, surely, she could handle this ( ... )

Throwing the door shut, locking it and spelling it shielded, he took off in the direction of the howls, running to the rescue as he ever did. Seeing there was three of them, he quickly sent off stunning spells, in the hopes it would hit them squarely enough to slow or even stop them.

Shite was her first though. It took her less than a second to notice the fur flying and the growls. She drew her wand and ducked back a bit, glad she got a moment before anyone noticed her. She took a deep breath and then took off running towards the melee, firing a few stunners as she went. She'd be better off closer to other wizards, and two wands were always better than one in a fight.

Neville heard a scream, then as rage filled him, he sent a barrage of spells at the wolf, trying to distract him from the man who lay, unmoving underneath him. FUCK.
Neville sent a column of red sparks high into the sky, hoping against all hope that someone from the Ministry would come to help.

"Diffinido!" Rodolphus shouted, arching his wand to hit the wolf's shoulder. There was a spark and a sick, rending crack! as one great, furry shoulder split as if hit by an ax. "Always were too easily distracted, Zim." Rod taunted, drawing the creature's attention. He didn't care about the girl, she had just given up a slightly better opening shot than he hoped for.
The cry of an owl overheard told Rod that Rabastan was similarly engaged elsewhere in the alley. Being separated didn't bother him too badly, there were too many places to hide, even here.

As soon as her mind was clear enough, she began sending distress sparks with her wand as she ran.

It was in this position that he saw a woman pass, wobbling in her high heels -- there was the sound of collective screaming echoing off the shop fronts. More people began to turn and run (here Seamus stood, brow furrowed, and fingered at the wand in his pocket) and then there was --
"Ohhhhh feck. Ohhhhh GodHe didn't have time to yell back at Sam -- poor Sam, he'd be laughing again by the end of it -- before he was square in the doorway of the shop. Courage had led Sea to do a lot of things he might never have otherwise -- there was a reason the had had finally decided on Gryffindor, after all -- and today it was certainly against his better judgement. He was sure he was going to regret opening ( ... )
