Throwing the door shut, locking it and spelling it shielded, he took off in the direction of the howls, running to the rescue as he ever did. Seeing there was three of them, he quickly sent off stunning spells, in the hopes it would hit them squarely enough to slow or even stop them.

Shite was her first though. It took her less than a second to notice the fur flying and the growls. She drew her wand and ducked back a bit, glad she got a moment before anyone noticed her. She took a deep breath and then took off running towards the melee, firing a few stunners as she went. She'd be better off closer to other wizards, and two wands were always better than one in a fight.

Neville heard a scream, then as rage filled him, he sent a barrage of spells at the wolf, trying to distract him from the man who lay, unmoving underneath him. FUCK.
Neville sent a column of red sparks high into the sky, hoping against all hope that someone from the Ministry would come to help.

"Alive or dead, do you know?" she asked Neville, wondering if she could make a mad dash and Apparate him out without getting swiped.

"Count of three, stupefy, petrificus, immobulus. Right? One, Two..." And he threw himself into Ginny as the other two wolves suddenly came into the fray.
He sent the spells in rapid fire, trying to stun, or jinx, or immobilize, or anything to the wolves and make them stop. One caught the Petrificus in the chest, and went down, and the other took a swing at him, only he recalled levicorpus just in time. Hanging in the air, it was an easier target, and he sent a slew of spells at it til it was secured.
That left the wolf who'd killed the elderly gentleman, and Nev's blood was high. "Take left, I'll take right. Let me distract him, and you take him down." He told Ginny.

Then she spotted the a large piece of the wood frame from the door. "Get back," she yelled at Neville, Accioing the makeshift stake. It wasn't a vampire, but she reckoned impaling it might do some damage. The wolf turned too, taking a leap and Ginny threw herself out of the way as the wooden stake went whistling overhead. Her arm crunched below her and she felt splinters dig into her face as she bit pavement but she pushed herself up as fast as she could with her good arm, whirling to face the still struggling beast ( ... )

"Fine." He could feel a few splinters that had got him, but nothing serious. He quickly pulled his wand to protect them, and offered her a hand up. "You?" He looked at her. :Your arm...."

"I'm good to Apparate, though. Good enough to take somebody else, actually," she said, moving over to take a look at the old man. She checked his pulse, but there was nothing. "Do you think there's more of them still down the Alley?" she asked.
She felt angry and helpless. Why were they constantly dealing with this? When would all the fighting end?

Impulsively, she threw her good arm around him quickly. "Be safe," she told him, and walked off towards the bloodied woman.

He squeezed her to him, dropping a kiss into her hair. "You too." He turned towards the sounds of chaos.
