Hermione looked over the clothes she had laid out on her bed and sighed. She'd come home for lunch because she still had not packed for her weekend with Malfoy. Every time she'd attempted to work it all out this week, she'd found something else that wasn't quite right and she'd put it off again. Now, she was out of time and she was still fussing about. Frankly, she was more than a little disgusted with her uncharacteristic procrastination and failure to handle this most basic of tasks.

What was she doing fussing over clothes and lingerie anyway? Malfoy certainly never seemed to mind her choices. Attempting to dress to please him instead of dressing to be comfortable would only make her feel awkward. She wasn't some dim-witted society witch or empty-headed fashion model who was all about style over substance.

Sending back everything but the red dress she'd purchased at the post-holiday sale at Harrods, Hermione started over. The dress was a definite because she loved it. It was not only the perfect color for Valentine's Day it was also comfortable and versatile. Her favorite black turtleneck, black tights, her favorite satiny black bra and knickers, and her black low-heeled boots, were added along side. Hermione smiled. It was classic, classy and perfect for a day in Paris. If Malfoy didn't agree, he could deal with it or go soak his platinum head in the Seine. It took her a few tries, but she managed to transfigure a perfect red cloak to go with it.

Next, she needed to decide on what to bring for Sunday. She already had a few clothes hanging in Malfoy's wardrobe - which made her smile to think about - however she wanted something that would be comfortable in case she was sore Sunday morning. Hermione took a deep breath at that thought. She was more than a little nervous about tomorrow night. Ever since she'd danced for him and they'd taken turns being naked and touching each other, Hermione knew she wanted more. She knew she wanted him. She wanted everything and it hadn't made much sense to keep waiting when she knew she wanted him. Suggesting that it would be romantic to make love for the first time on Valentine's Day had seemed like such a natural progression for them ten days ago when she'd brought it up. Draco had been so sweet and said he'd be thrilled. Now, with only one night to go, the reality of it was settling in. Was she really as ready as she thought? Hermione pushed that thought to the side. She'd already thought about this. The two of them had plans.

This wasn't the time for second guessing herself. It was a time for packing.

She added her favorite comfort clothes and her favorite bra and knickers. The clothes were more obviously Muggle than most of what she wore these days but she liked them. Hermione doubted Malfoy would deny her anything that would make her feel more comfortable the day after losing her virginity.

Hermione considered dropping in the robe and nightgown her mother had sent her for Christmas but she loved wearing his shirts far too much to bother. Deciding she had everything, Hermione cast a packing charm over the lot and sent it all into her satchel. She wished she could pack away her nervous stomach as well.

She told herself again that this wasn't the time for second guessing herself. The thing was, if she didn't do it tonight, tomorrow would be too late.
