Percy never though it would be a good thing to see Cho taking so long to get ready for an outing--more reminiscent of that fabled before time--but it was a welcome sight, watching the brush go through her hair as he pretended to decide between handmade sweaters. Nothing else would be fitting for a reunion. After watching Cho as long as he dared from one end of the bed, Percy pulled on a worn dark blue sweater with a faded gold "P" on the front. It had been buried for Merlin knows how long in the bottom of a drawer and smelled vaguely of pine and age ( ... )

Cho wasn't completely nervous.

Surprisingly.

The longer it took to get ready, the more assured of herself she felt -- by the time they finally made their way, she'd shined herself to a former glory that had been difficult to remember as of late. A cynical part of her was sure it would be gone by the end of the night, but... First impressions were always important.

Apparating wasn't so bad, always -- not when the destination met you with the sound of waves. She barely heard Percy as he spoke, and responded with a dreamy nod. "Of course. Hex the daylights out of him."

"Hex the daylights out of who?" Bill popped up behind the two, grinning like a monkey. A redhaired monkey with a great big smile. "Oi, Perce, glad you could make it. Most of you, at least. Mum see that jumper? She's probably hysterical with glee."

He turned his attention on the young woman at Percy's side. "And this vision of loveliness must be Cho. You keepin' my brother in line?"

"Hello! Yes, I'm Cho."

And she giggled, squeezing Percy's hand. "Your brother invented the line. You're Bill, aren't you?"

There were far too many brothers, sometimes.

Attie left Teddy with Molly, much to her happiness, it seemed. She found Bill and punched him playfully in the side before hugging him. "Billiam! Everyone else has been stealing you today. Where's your wife, I was going to ask her to run away with me." She teased, chuckling. She enjoyed busting Bill's chops, the two of them seemed to only get worse with age.

"Everyone loves me! That's the issue at hand." Bill wrapped Attie up in a big hug and pretended to give her a noogie. "I might encourage you to run away with my wife, if you're the one who taught the little tyke to call me Billy Boy. Or Biwwyboy, as the case may be."

Athena chuckled. "Me? That was Chuck, how dare you even accuse me, Billiam." She teased, kissing his cheek. "Besides, he's adorable, how can you resist anything he says to you?" She asked, giving him a small wink.

Bill snickered and wrapped an arm around Attie's shoulders, looking out over the beach and watching his family play and relax. "It's easier to resist when he's not tuggin' on my hair or yankin' my earring and tellin' me that Chawwie works with dwagons."

Ginny got off from practice late, but at least she was here. She gave a wave to most of her brothers and various guests as she made her way over to Bill to say hello to him first.

"'Lo Bill!" she said cheerily, giving him a hug.

"Gin!" Bill snugged Ginny up in a hug, trying to be careful not to lift her off her feet. Hadn't seen her in such a while, he wasn't sure he could get away with that. "Glad you could make it, sis. I defended the biscuits for you. How's your day?"

Ginny stood on the tips of her toes to hug him and pulled a face. "It is incredibly unfair that all of you are so much taller than me," she said, grinning.

"Day's been well - practice went long, but that seems to be the usual these days. How's the shindig been going?" she asked.

"You're our tiny little spitfire, sis." Bill stopped himself from rubbing the top of her head, but only just. "Party's doin' great so far. Think just about everybody's here. Even Perce showed up, imagine that."
