The house-elf had taken her note, and she quickly followed, so as not to give Rabastan time to deny her this chance. The note read simply,
Rabastan,
I am coming over to apologize.
Please do not kill me or hex me when I come to the door.

She thought is would suffice. She had a basket with her. She'd taken Draco's advice, not knowing why she'd forgotten about going to Slug and Jigggers, and she'd felt slightly foolish in her note to Draco. To her, it was just a demonstration of how much Rabastan had rattled her that day. She'd gone in and purchased an assortment of blood replenishing potions, pain potions, bone growing formula, a container of bruise salve. They had other salves, for repairing the skin which she doubted would work, but she got a small tub of it. At her next stop, she'd added a bottle of brandy, a bottle of cognac, a box of cigars and a box of chocolates that the woman at the cigar shop said would go very well with the drinks and the smokes.
Thus fortified with a basket of goodies, her house-elf only momenta ahead of her, she found herself at the similar door. She'd dressed in a grey thin wool dress, and heels, with her hair down, her black traveling cloak over her. She was still tired, and her body ached in secret sensitive spots but she felt incredible and brimming with good will. She wasn't going to let herself think about Blaise; he was just a taste, right? A nibble to satisfy that craving she'd to have? She felt more than satisfied now, complete satiated. She raised her hand, and knocked, and waited.
