Random Facts!
Been meaning to do these for a while, so!
Akiha currently has no close members of his family left. His father died shortly after he finished college and he never bothered looking for his mother again. As for aunts/uncles/etc, he just never felt close enough to them (and it doesn't help that they only started really noticing him once he became famous.) Akiha likes to cook. A lot. Of course, he doesn't get to do it often and he ends up causing disasters every now and then, but all in all, he's a pretty decent cook. The reason why Akiha hasn't bought an apartment for himself yet is because he doesn't like coming home to an empty place. Hotels are entirely different because there are always lots of people around and, after all, they're nothing like a home. Ironically enough, when Akiha is having a bad day and/or wants to forget about his problems, he locks himself up in his dark room and works on his photographs for hours. On a similar note, Akiha is a complete workaholic. Work > food > sleep. Akiha doesn't really have lots of personal belongings back home. Most of his clothes, CD's, movies, etc, he keeps them at the apartment he used to share with Ebi (where she's currently living). Also, at Umeda's. The thing Akiha fears the most, is being left behind. Akiha likes children and would love to be a father, even though he knows it probably won't happen because of his lifestyle and other factors. After the incident with his mother, Akiha did in fact try to set his apartment on fire. He was home alone at the time but in the end he was too scared to do anything but stare at the pack of matches he had in his hand. When his father got home, he found him hiding under the bed, crying. Akiha is considerably fluent in English. It was one of his best subjects during high school and his career and music tastes helped him perfect it. Akiha has never suffered from cavities or blood sugar problems in his life. Akiha only started being social after he joined the Photography Club in high school. On a certain unconscious level, Akiha does think (and even, expects) that Umeda will leave him behind once he finds someone he wants to spend his life with. This is why he constantly stalks chases after him, because he doesn't want to lose him. However, if/when Umeda finally falls in love with someone that returns his feelings, Akiha is perfectly willing to step aside and let them be happy together. Akiha knows Umeda doesn't love him. He's not entirely sure he'll be able to change this or not, but he's going to try, anyway. No matter who you are or whatever your history with Akiha is, chances are, he doesn't trust you. Sure, he's pretty friendly and he will look out for you and maybe even talk to you about personal stuff, but unless you're damn special? No, he doesn't trust you. Akiha will do anything and everything possible to avoid talking about his problems and eight, out of ten times, he will successfully manage to change the topic of the conversation. (Bonus points if he manages to change it to the other person's problems, instead!) Regarding Akiha's 'void' in his heart -- Umeda cannot 'fill' it as things are right now, because of unrequited feelings. But he will probably be able to, if things change someday. And on a similar note, Akiha appreciates the fact that Umeda has always been honest with him about not returning his feelings and this is another one of the reasons he's been after him for so many years now.
