Domesticity!

Well, I've been in my new place for a fortnight, & although I still haven't got pictures up, otherwise I am well & truly at home. Today I went to a big hardware store with a car-equipped friend & got 3 big bags of potting mix, a hose & some vegetable seedlings ready to start growing salad ingredients on my verandah. No frost & no marauding

That's funny, I tend to turn to filo more readily than puff... But I am very slapdash in my approach to layering filo, so I guess that's less fiddly. Plus keeping it soggy like you showed me. I do like a good spanakopita.

The kitchen looks nice and cosy, good work spaces.

I hope Kepler is coming along well!

The puff pastry was delicious & I pigged out on the pie for several days instead of being sensible & putting some in the freezer. Maybe I'll use filo next time for comparison, as it's years since I last made spanakopita.

Kepler is going slowly - I got lazy & instead of blocking the sleeve bands so I could pick up stitches & start the sleeves, I started on the waist cable band.
