I think the idea of normal citizens being more involved with science is very interesting and beneficial to scientists. Citizens who don't have strong backgrounds in science can still make significant contributions to our society, while scientists can increase their social skills when dealing with people who don't know some things about science. I explored three different blog sites(Blogger, Wordpress and LiveJournal), and each site unique features and benefits. Blogger, for example has a firm set of rules in order to create a peaceful community. However, I wasn't able to see actual blogs on the site.
