Membership update: please read
Quick update...the community has been opened to all membership and all watchers over 18 should please join now by clicking "join this community" on the userinfo page.
In addition, please leave a comment on this post stating your username and that you are 18 or older. (Should additional comment space be needed if this one maxes out, I'll create another post at that time.)
Please note that you should be 18 to join and that an age statement or date of birth should appear in your userinfo. This will be checked by a team of volunteers in the upcoming week or two and if you do not have one readily accessible, you will be removed from the community roster. Posting access will be limited to invited writers and authors; watchers will not have posting access. All posts to this community will be locked.
For this weekend, while Prophecy is continuing, posts will remain on moderated status and no posts will be approved other than administrative posts.
In regards to moving pornish_pixies to another service, that is still an option on the table. I'm not going to do it without serious planning and thought as to where to take the comm, however, so locking the community is for the moment a preventative measure for the safety of artists and writers.
I also strongly encourage all writers and artists to, if possible, use links to off-LJ archives. While I realize that until now it's been the practice to post work directly to the community, if you wish to replace your stories and art with offsite links in the entries, please do so.
