Yaay, thanks! And I have no idea when it happened, but it needs to un-happen, stat. The best is when Facebook suggests pages to me that I "might be interested in" and it's the most left-field WTF-ery ever. Like based on my interest in Pokemon, they've determined I might also be interested in Icelandic weasel farming. Um. K.

In addition to conspiracy theories and guilt-ridden awareness, I'm also over the whole "shaming" concept. It always feels like a guilt trip in and of itself. "Do not say or do x, y, or z! You might make someone feel bad! And that would be HORRIBLE of you!" It's verging on political correctness and I'm pretty sick of it.

I'm sure you know the danger of getting me started on a political correctness rant (the CAPSLOCK button of Gryffindor meets the Teal Deer of Ravenclaw), but "pretty sick of it" is probably the mildest way to put it. Some people just need to fucking realize the entire universe has other things to worry about than some random person's self esteem.
