I've been in London the last couple of days. Very fun indeed. I took in a show! I'm not sure it strictly counts, since it was Under the Blue Sky, and I was really only there because of Catherine Tate, but it's better than the other times I've been down to visit my friends and we've just gotten pissed up and done nothing touristy at all ( Read more... )

Bless you! Imagine though, if RTD had been persuaded to stay on, Tovey really might have succeeded Tennant! How mental is that?!

Proper mental! There's also a Russell Tovey interview somewhere where he says he'd quite like to be the next companion and pledges his future televisual loyalty to RTD if RTD should ever want him for anything. So I will pine for what could have been. Sniffle.

Hmm, she scrubbed up then for Thursday evening because on Thursday afternoon she was wearing trainers and a raincoat!

See, she was thinner than I thought she would be (as you say, always the way!) but way taller than I expected. Dunno why, I think I've only ever met really short celebs, lol!!

Oh God, I wasn't calm the first time- that's why I gave her the letter and I was shaking! I've calmed on the subsequent meetings- just!

I accidentally told her the play was awful. I was trying to tell her what happened to Michelle was awful, but it just fell out of my mouth wrong. Ooopsie!

Wow, I'm so incredibly jealous of the fact that you got to meet her! She's lovely though.

And I am hopping with excitement regarding RTD's book, thanks very much for linking the article. I think he's absolutely brilliant.
