So I've been looking up old friends from high school and thinking about the friends I have here in college now. Of the 13 friends I found from high school, five of them already have babies. Now these people used to be my friends and I appreciate them and all, but it seems like the ones who got knocked up were the less intelligent ones in the bunch

Babies are amazing :P It has nothing to do with being stupid, some people have different priorities in life. I've always wanted children, so it's not dumb for me to do so. I'm far less concerned with partying and wasting away years doing stupid crap.

What I find sad when I look back at my old highschool friends are the numbers of them who never left home, never found people to hang out with that they didn't grow up with, and who haven't found "Mr/Mrs Right" because they never got out of their safety net to look, or are so scared of responsibility that they wouldn't want to try. I guess it explains why I've lost touch with all but two of my old highschool "friends"

Lol, right? I guess I also shouldn't mention that I enjoyed being barefoot, pregnant, and in the kitchen.

Totally - people shouldn't have kids till they're ready, but it's silly to say people who do have kids are stupid for making that choice.
