Sanji
(
)
" Of course."
The man who would be her father. The only man who ever could be. Sanji is one of Xion's most precious people, as close to her as Axel and Roxas are -- and perhaps, in some ways, closer. She loves him intensely, in a way that transcends simple best friends -- she loves him in the way, perhaps, a daughter might love her parent. Sanji is so much of Xion's world, these days. He's protected her, and she him; they've gone into battle facing each other and by each other's sides. Each has risked death or worse for the sake of the other's life. That they'd do it all again without hesitation is what makes their relationship so incredible. And ever since Sanji told her that he'd of course consider adopting her someday -- well -- that just sealed it, didn't it? For as long as he's in Luceti, he's stuck with his derpy, overprotective, extremely loving not!daughter. Lucky he doesn't mind, huh?
Luke
" I'm... glad you're alive."
Official boyfriendo. Luke is a rarefied, breathtaking thing in Xion's life. Their first meeting was so innocuous -- he just happened to wander in one day while she practiced archery in the barracks -- and from there it's grown to so, so much more. The two were naturally drawn to each other, kindness to kindness, and they bonded quickly. Still, for some time they remained simply good friends of the more casual sort. But their friendship went into uncharted territory the day he found her watching the village after the Total Recall experiment. One thing led to another -- and he admitted to her that he was a Replica -- a weapon -- fated for death -- just like her. The revelation rocked them both, and they spent a long moment huddled in each other's arms. It catapulted Luke abruptly into Xion's closest circle of trust. After much awkward, flailing, and to do (involving some talks with parental figures and an invasive love experiment), the two have admitted to being in love! And are now a Disney-wholesome, saptacular couple.
Sokka
" Stimulus... response. Flower. Kiss?"
To this day, Xion and Sokka are somewhat unusual friends because of the way they met. It was Dragobete, and he used a trick of the experiment to get him to kiss her -- twice! She became upset and scared, and it was only by the grace of his inherent goofiness and good traits that he won her back over. They've been fast friends ever since. In fact, aside from Sanji, Sokka was the only person Xion explicitly asked to fight her when she turned into that monster. She trusted him with her life -- or death, as it were -- and considers him one of her closest friends. He's one of a small handful of people she truly trusts.
Draco
" ...bit cold for that sort of outfit, wouldn't you say?"
Draco. Oh, Draco. For an antagonist, or at least an anti-hero, you sure fail at making Xion anything less than very fond of you. Xion and Draco met over a discussion of trashy romance novels, and their long conversations since have led Xion to believe he's a perfectly nice boy, if somewhat brusque and with a tendency to be harsh. But Draco offered to help teach her magic, and even brought her to the DA meeting, and since then she's been very grateful to him for his help and, yes, his friendship. (That's what she considers it, anyway.) He's tended to turn up in moments that have been difficult for her, and he's always given her his own special brand of brusque, clear-eyed advice that, while harsh, she has always appreciated.
Ginko
" You are alive. And loved. That's the true value of anyone."
Ahhh... Ginko. They've made slow circles around one another for a long time, initially connected only by their close friendships with Sanji. Of course, those mutual friendships lead them to hear of each other -- Ginko of Xion's death, Xion of Ginko's. (Though, well, she never knew the truth -- just that something awful had happened.) For a long while, she only knew him at Sanji's precious person. Then, slowly, they began to speak. Here and there, occasionally -- during experiments, at random, quiet moments. But what finally, really crystallized their connection was the most recent draft -- and a dire, desperate situation where Xion, Sanji, and Ginko all had to rely on each other in turn to save all their lives. For her efforts, Xion earned a massive scar extending from breast to hip, a war trophy of which she is fiercely proud. When you save someone's life, it tends to stick with you -- and now she actively seeks Ginko out for his own merit, and because she likes him and his serenity. Not to mention he made her cry! ... in a good way. She trusts him maybe a little more than she should, since it's a purely instinctual trust -- but she feels he's worth it.
Richard
" You continue living as best you can."
Naoki introduced her to Richard at his birthday party, and the two got along well from the very start. Xion immediately took a liking to him because, well ... he was Naoki's precious person. That had, had to mean he was good. Since then, Richard has shown up in some key moments, offering advice and showing her that they shared some similarities in their lives... hidden monsters, troubled pasts, all sorts of things. She's drawn to his kindness, his gentle manner, and his wisdom, and has come to treasure him as a good friend in his own right.
Fenimore
" It's not like I can really stop you. Tsuuuuuuuun."
So tsun. You'd think two polar opposites like Xion and Fenimore would never get on, but really, it's quite the opposite. Not only does Xion adore Fenimore, she actually feels a bit protective of her sometimes, because she knows Fenimore tends to bury how she feels under anger and brusqueness. But despite that thorny demeanor, Fenimore has never, ever failed to be there for her in dark times, and Xion just loves her to bits for that. Fenimore is another person she trusts... though she can be a bit skittish sometimes in admitting things to her, as she also knows that when Fenimore's fear gets the best of her, she can say ... unfortunate things.
Kida
" Nee, Xion-chan, you know, you can call me 'Masaomi.'"
Kida is an odd one for Xion. He inspires great feelings of ambivalence in her, and in his presence she's never quite sure how to feel. Unlike with Sanji, she finds his flirting overbearing and exhausting sometimes, and occasionally gets a little prickly when he strikes on subjects she doesn't want to get into, like Riku. He also harbors a darkness that frightens her, mostly because she doesn't understand it. She's used to darkness, rough edges, monsters -- but Kida is impenetrable, and it makes him more intimidating. Nonetheless, she does like him and he's someone she'll willingly seek out to spend time with. she wishes she could help him ... though feels frustrated by her failures in doing so.
Wolfwood
Name of Series
" How do y'prove you're worth something...?"
These two met on Halloween. Surrounded by horrors and dark shadows, they found each other on a bridge, and Wolfwood does what Wolfwood does -- somehow manage to talk his way into a positive spin on the situation even when haunted by his own demons. He gave her his coat, and a friendship was formed. Already having taken an immediate and great liking to him, Xion found herself drawn to him even further when he was turned into a child -- and he said some shocking things. Since then she's found himself wondering about him, and what kind of person he truly is. He's someone she really wants to get to know better. Xion thinks very highly of Wolfwood and frankly just likes him a great deal.

Vash
" I don't want anyone to die!"
Vash ... is and will always remain a complicated thing in Xion's life. She likes him -- she does! He's kind and gentle and silly and kind of wonderful sometimes. But they met on the eve of her death, and he made her swear to live -- a promise that damaged her when she was, of course, unable to fulfill it. Ever since then she's been a little bit leery of his philosophy of life, knowing first-hand that it doesn't always work out. However, she is also aware of Knives, and of the darker aspects of his life, and isn't entirely sure what to make of it all. Though she will still tread carefully around him, he is someone she cares about and considers a friend, no matter what.
Brook
Name of Series
" Yohohoho..."
Brook was there at the moment when Xion's life in Luceti hit its absolute Nadir. It's a moment only he and Sanji witnessed -- and one only those two will ever know about. She has never forgotten the way those two took care of her when she was too hysterical to think or breathe, utterly shattered by her losses, and as such she's always counted him as one of those people she can trust the most.
Miyabi
Name of Series
" Maybe I can paint you someone one day, if you really like them!"
Oh man so awesome. SO AWESOME. And sweet! Xion thinks Miyabi is just wonderful. A talented painter, kind, and really, truly unique among the people she's met in Luceti. Xion already considers Miyabi a friend, if a knew one, and would like to spend more time with and talking to the poncle.
Chopper
Name of Series
“ Quote goes here.”
Haha, her sometimes-doctor. Sanji initially sent her to Chopper after "he" broke her arm, and Chopper fixed her right up. He's been her doctor a few times when she's been injured, mostly because he's the only one in the village she's really aware of, and the only one she's willing to rely on -- she trusts him! (After all, if he can take care of the crew... he must be a pretty amazing doctor.) Plus, he's sweet and cute as a button (though she tries not to say so), so while they aren't close, Xion does feel pretty fond of him.
Nami
Name of Series
“ Quote goes here.”
Tall, beautiful, self-assured Nami -- Xion definitely admires this woman for her poise and intelligence, and even wishes she could be like her. She's not jealous, really, but ... there might be the tiniest bit of idolization there. Nami has helped her out in the past, and though the two speak infrequently, they get along well and Xion likes her. As with Usopp, Xion couldn't help but be really happy when she heard Nami had returned to Luceti.

Regal
Name of Series
“ Quote goes here.”
Since he runs the bakery, a store Xion is in fairly often, Regal is someone Xion actually sees fairly regularly. They don't speak much over the journals, but he's never been anything but caring and concerned for her, in his quiet way. She enjoys speaking with him and spending time in his company.
Emil
Name of Series
“ Quote goes here.”
Xion found out something rather surprising about Emil recently, courtesy of Ginko, and has ever since been itching for the opportunity to ask him about it. Emil is kind of a strange thing for Xion -- after all, they met at what was an incredibly dangerous and difficult time for her, literally immediately preceding her transformation into the monster that would attack friends and strangers alike before perishing. He was sweet and concerned, but terrified and beginning to break, Xion had run. Ever since, though it's been ages, Xion hasn't been quite sure how to face him, or really talk to him. He saw her at an extraordinarily vulnerable moment, at a time when he was a total stranger to her -- how do you carry on after that? However, she would like to get to know him better.
Jacob
Name of Series
“ Quote goes here.”
A friend of Riku and Kairi's, and one of the two Secret Keepers for House 14. Xion barely knows him, but knows that if he's friends with Riku and Kairi (Kairi especially -- sorry 'ku), he must be a good guy, and he's come across to her that way in their conversations. She now has to trust him with rather a lot by default -- the safety of their house! their lives! -- so she'd really like to get to know him a little better.
