Personality: Xion, at her core, is a personable and cheerful girl. When she can be, she's outgoing and loves to have fun with her friends. She's prone to laughing and smiling, and even teasing when the occasion calls for it. As long as her friends are there, she'll be warm and happy. It doesn't take much to keep Xion content. When all is well in her world, Xion is a steadfast and capable worker, too, staying focuses and on task and doing her job well. She retains a somewhat calm and even temperament when not otherwise very happy or sad; when all is well, she's a fairly balanced, normal girl.
But that's only when all the elements around her combine just right, and things rarely do in Xion's life. Deep down she's also an emotionally fragile girl who is prone to insecurity and questioning herself and everything around her. She's easily frightened by things she doesn't understand, so long as they pertain to herself, and she's got a fiery temper when deeply provoked. If angered or defeated she will fly into a rage and attack without thinking.
At the point in her story that she's from, she's come to accept, to some degree, what she is, but while she's made peace with the idea, it still saddens and pains her when she sees the effects it has on her friends. More than anything, Xion wants to take care of them just like they take care of her, and she wants them to be happy. She'll go very far out of her way for the people she cares about, even if it comes down to fighting them.
Above all, Xion will always do what she thinks is right, even if it bewilders or hurts the people around her. She's got an incredibly strong moral compass and she won't let anything sway it. Couple that with a very intensely curious nature and she's likely to go off on larks without telling anyone what she's doing, now and again. Sometimes she'll apologize, but sometimes she'll say nothing at all, never explaining her actions.
Strengths: Physically, Xion is a fighter more or less on par with Sora circa KH1. She wields a Keyblade and is fairly adept at all kinds of KH magic. Magic is one of her greater physical strengths, honestly; she uses it with good timing and precision. Otherwise, she's light and quick on her feet, making her more of a speed fighter; she can't hit hard, but she'll hit fast. Technically, she's also very adept in how she handles the Keyblade, and ambidextrous to boot.
Mentally and emotionally, Xion is a very stubborn girl, and once she's got a goal in mind, she'll see it through to the end. Fragile though she may be in some ways, she's also got a certain resilience at her core that means that no matter how lost or unhappy she gets, she will never give up. She's also an incredibly and unshakably loyal friend, and will do anything to protect those she cares about - even if it means sacrificing herself. That's a personal kind of strength - a show of just how brave she can really be when the moment calls for it.
Weaknesses: In the end, Xion is still not the best of fighters. She can indeed hold her own, but against an opponent who really knows his or her stuff, ranged or melee, she won't hold very long. She's not physically strong, so her blows lack a lot of punch, and if her speed can't make up the difference, she's toast. Plus, she may be fast, but that's only by a certain standard - there are certainly others who are faster.
Her temper can be an issue for her. It's not that hard to make Xion upset, and once she's mad, she'll make a whole string of bad decisions in fairly rapid succession. She doesn't like to lose or be left out of the loop, and her stubborn determination to win or find out the truth can see her hurt or ending up in bad situations. Plus, when she does get sad, it can be hard for her to cheer up and remember what it is that makes her happy. She is very insecure, deep down, and will lapse into prolonged silences if she doesn't know how to handle what it is that's bothering her.
