PART TWO
Okay. So this is my “long fic” fic rec list. I've probably missed a billion fics, so suggestions are always welcome. If you have something you think you would like to be added to the list please go HERE to rec it.
Okay, all new fics have a star next to them. I'm going to try and be more frequent with my updates, but we'll see. Current update dates will now be in the title portion of the post.
So there's this fabulous comm. on dreamwidth called kradammadness. I'm sure you've heard of it. There's a ton of fic there. Most of it is comment fic. As of right now, I'm only reccing fic there if it's put as a separate post. That's mostly because of the volume of fic there, and the limited time I have had to try and catch up.
Also, I'm still wading through kradamholidays, valentine and the last round of kradamkiss. I haven't even looked at cockbertbigbang, so any firsthand recommendations are welcome. I also have a page of fics that are about 40K plus that I haven't gotten to yet. And big bang starts soon, lol. Anyway…
If you have already recommended it and I haven’t listed it here, there probably is a reason. If it’s a pairing I don't normally read it may take me longer to get to it. Or I just don't know about it. Also I still have a word document of links to wade through. But I'm pretty open so, rec it! I won't rec anything that isn't completed, and I have a list of author(s) at the end that are friendslocked that have either been recced to me or I read them before they were friendslocked and I'm just too lazy to attempt to press the add friend button. Also I have a few fics at the end that I don't have a word count for. But I know they fit this list. The anal retentive organizer in me would love to know where to put them. I think I covered everything.
Also I apologize for my terrible commentary. I'll read most anything, but know that every fic made this list for a reason, so there is that.
Also I really debated about included myself. And then I remembered I am a shameless self-promoter, plus nannerz2cool and jehane18 made me.

I hadn't read it because of the pairing but then I started it and zomg. I had a grin on my face the whole time, because Adam is sort of stupid and endearing, and all his boyfriends are kind of wonderful to him. (AU. PG-13. Cracky and fabulous)

★ the alternative to love by honey-wheeler 5200 Adam Lambert/Danny Gokey What could have been the crackiest pairings of them all turns out to be rather sweet and a little sad. The on a dare fic ever. (Tourfic. R)
★ five times David Cook almost kisses Andy Skib (and one time Andy kisses him) by lifescript 5307 David Cook/Andy Skib Pretty much what the title says, but I'm a complete sucker for five times fics. And this one is really awesome. (preIdol. PG13)
Set Our Watches Forward Like We're Just Arriving Here by summerstorm 5310 Kris Allen/Adam Lambert Kris fractures his wrist, Adam takes care of him. Things happen. (Futurefic. R. Really hot hair washing scene)
Events Unnerve Me by yeats 5350. Kris Allen/Adam Lambert Kris calls Adam in the middle of the night shortly after Idol is over. I love everything about this, from its dreamlike quality to the bittersweet ending. (AU.R. Bittersweet and lovely.)
★ Kiss A Girl by setissma 5400 Kris Allen/Adam Lambert really really hot but really really meaningful genderswap fic. (AU. NC17)
Not Expected by aquata232 5424. Kris Allen/Adam Lambert I was actually in the original post this was written in. Seeing this fic develop was one of the most exciting things ever. The epilogue still hasn’t been written and yet, I do not care. The snarky text message from Kris to his friends deserves a rec alone. I didn't realize this was FL until someone pointed it out, because, duh, I'm friends with the author. (AU. R. CLUBBING FIC. )
★ No by cathalin 5500 Kris Allen/Adam Lambert Kris has a tendency to procrastinate and fly under the radar. When he's finally read to try for something more than friendship with Adam, Adam is involved with someone else, and happy. Everything she writes is completely perfect, and this is no different. Kris is just the right amount of idiot, and Adam is just the right amount of clueless. (Futurefic. Amazing)
it's a round, round, round circle by inbetweencabs 5600 Kris Allen/ Adam Lambert/ Allison Iraheta, Kris Allen/ Tommy Joe Ratliff, Allison Iraheta/ Tommy Joe Ratliff Despite what the pairings say, this is a cute, wonderfully sweet, totally awesome FIRST FIC from cabs, full of sly humor and so much win. I'll Be Here When You Wake by claire_kay 5700. Kris Allen/Adam Lambert Angsty pool sex. Okay it's more than that, and just heartbreaking, but the end leaves just a little bit of wonder and hope I think. (Futurefic. NC17. UNF and :'))

★ Three's Not Always a Crowd by cydsa 6646 Adam Lambert/Dean Winchester/Same Winchester I've only watched a little Supernatural, but who needs to when it's this hot and fun? (AU. NC17)
But I Still Have Dreams by jerakeen 6600. Kris Allen/Adam Lambert Adam needs a personal assistant. One is built for him. It turns out to be Kris. Um. Kris is a robot and it still works. The penultimate scenes are a little worrisome, but worth it. (AU. PG13. Robots.)
Plus Ca Change by goseaward 6655. Kris Alen/Adam Lambert Adam goes to Kris's thirtieth birthday party in NYC. There's this aching sense of longing and discovery throughout this and I just think everyone should read it. So do it. (Furturefic. PG13. Loveeeee)

★ That's Where It Is by jehane18 6800 David Cook/Carrie Underwood This is the sequel to You Can Go Your Own Way/Why Can't This Be Love (which is also on this list) and it's achingly beautiful and I may have let out the most embarrassing sigh ever when I was done reading this. (AU. PG13)
Far More Than Fleeting by jenslore 7000+. Kris Allen/Adam Lambert Adam is addicted to drugs. Kris helps him. Emotionally intense, and satisfying as well. (stole the summary from weddingbeaches again) (AU. R. Intense.)
★ Story of My Life by shelbecat ~7000 Kris Allen/Adam Lambert Kris is a succubus (well incubus, but anyway), and is doing okay until he meets Adam. Then things get really interesting. (AU. NC17)
★ Earth Boys are Easy by jerakeen 7000 Kris Allen/Adam Lambert Alien Adam picks up Kris in a bar with the intent to mate. Kris has other ideas. Adam is pretty insistent. ~Things happen. (AU. NC17)
★ I'll Have What He's Having by cydsa 7000 Kris Allen/Adam Lambert When Harry Met Sally, except not. Fun and flirty and fabulous. (AU. NC17)
Give in to Me 7040 by vanya_elda Kris Allen/Adam Lambert I'm going to use the author's description here: but know this is the best kind of angst ever. Aftermath of a tragic accident where Katy dies, Kris blames himself for whatever reason. He's become emotionally numb, hasn't been able to mourn or cry and wants to feel something again. He wants Adam to fuck him, he wants it to be painful. Afterward, Kris breaks down and finally cries and mourns. Adam comforts him, your call if they have sex again, this time gentle and loving. Pop goes the World by abusing_sarcasm 7100. Kris Allen/Adam Lambert In which Adam takes a lot of pictures of Kris, and it really does mean something. A lovely progression that takes place during the AI tour. (Tourfic. R. The tweet at the end makes me grin every time)
That Old Black Magic by jerakeen7160 Kris Allen/Adam Lambert A little story about how Fate does and doesn't work, and Adam's family dynamic is really cool here. (AU. NC17. Fate)
And Both Shall Row by sporadic_fic 7259. Kris Allen/Adam Lambert Probably one of the best "what happened in New York" fics I have ever read. I love how every single word has meaning and weight, and how at the end, you can really feel that maybe this did happen. (TOURFIC. PG13. NEW YORK)

Whataya Want From Me y risti 7400 Kris Allen/Adam Lambert Written in second person, yet done perfectly right. A fic realization of the music video. (sort of AU. R. Some Angst) now with sequel here (not over 5k, but still)

Kris Allen/Adam Lambert Technically this is a sequel to The Night Would Be Enough which isn't long enough to be on here, but I love the whole series, so…. Tangled Up by butterfly 7700. Kris Allen/Adam Lambert Adam keeps kissing Kris and Kris doesn't stop him. I love how the author both does and doesn't deal with real life, and leaves everything open, so we don't know how things turn out. (Mansion fic. R. Light angst)
The Trouble With Kids Is... by shelbecat 7750. Kris Allen/Adam Lambert In Which Kris has kids, Adam doesn’t get them, and yet things end up okay. This is adorable and fluffy and has that sense that it could go on longer, but somehow manages to end just right. (AU. PG-13. KIDFIC)
★ The Secret's in the Telling by claire-kay 7799 Kris Allen/Tommy Joe Ratliff Somehow, she takes what is probably the silliest pairing and makes it work really really well. I loved that there was never a question. (AU. R.)
★ Hearts that Break, Still Beat On by dazzamre 7882 Kris Allen/Adam Lambert A sweet and poignant story. When Adam buys Kris house, and things happen. (AU. R)

Adam/Matt Giraud First of all, Madam. Second of all, her Matt voice is absolute perfection. Third of all, I haven't laughed this hard since the pod baby fic. (Okay, maybe harder.) Matt becomes Adam's personal assistant, and his day today observations of what happens. For Matt's description of Kris alone, this is worth it. (AU. R. Crack. Madam.)

In Any Other World by yekoc10100 Kris Allen/Adam Lambert It's an Enchanted AUThat alone should get you running. But Adam is kind of perfect, and so is Kris, and I have reread this enough times to be slightly embarrassed except I'm not. Perfection. (AU. R. ALKsjhdjgv)
I Want to Make You Crepes by spikedluv 10157, Kris Allen/Adam Lambert Kris is the newly divorced rock star who hires Adam Lambert to dirty up his image. The photshoot alone is worth the read.
